fool yourself twice, and I guess you’re just plain dense. We can now put Steven Plaut into that latter column. You see, way back in March, Plaut found some quote from Middle East history professor Juan Cole from the New York Times that painted Cole as a whacked out conspiracy nut. Only thing was that the quote was a fake. Now he has done it again by confusing Aljazeera.com, an online British magazine, with Aljazeera.net, the website of the Arabic television station based in Qatar. I will give Plaut some credit: Aljazeera.com does look pretty insane, but for a guy who lives in Isreal and supposedly knows a great deal about the Middle East, Plaut sure is an all day sucker for disinformation.
