Friday Fun Links: Mardi Gras Edition

Even though I’m calling this the Mardi Gras edition, there isn’t anything really related to Mardi Gras about these links, it’s just all I can think about since I will be there in a little over twelve hours. And just to let you know, I won’t be back home until fairly late Monday, so while there might be some posts between now and then, don’t expect anything.

Fox News has put together a Daily Show ripoff that is not funny except in that Fox News thought it was a good idea to make this monstrosity. As a friend of mine put it, “the laugh tracked sucked. I think even the laugh track thought that shit was not funny at all.” Here is a clip about Barack Obama, and here is an even more unacceptable one with Rush Limaugh and Ann Coulter playing the president and vice president in a an alternate reality 2009.

Brooke Hogan does not approve of Mastodon’s look, but that’s OK because she won’t approve of her own after Mastodon tracks her down and rocks her face right the fuck off.

Finally, I’ve long thought that members of Congress are a really mediocre bunch and probably not much brighter than the average American. This just confirmed that suspicion for me.
